Glynn Gomes

Glynn Gomes is the principal and founder of Gomes Consulting Enterprises Ltd. He has over 18 years of experience working on and managing diverse environmental projects. He has a M.Sc. from University of Toronto in a collaborative environmental degree with focus on natural resources management. His Master’s research dealt with contamination in stormwater ponds. His undergraduate degree, also from University of Toronto, is a B.Sc. with a specialist in aquatic biology and major in environmental management. Glynn has worked on over 80 projects for various clients. Examples include: Fisheries & Oceans Canada, Environment Canada, and other federal government; other levels of government; and, other types of organizations such as University of Toronto, Ontario Power Authority, Hydro One, and Scientific Committee on Problems of the Environment/United Nations Environment Programme.


Glynn's experience has dealt with: habitat management and aquatic issues; environmental assessment; environmental contaminants; climate change; public consultation, communication and stakeholder engagement; and, various other natural resources management issues. He specializes in conducting best practices review and other special studies with comprehensive analysis and careful research, has prepared many large reports for his clients, and has worked as an editor.

Prior to founding Gomes Consulting Enterprises Ltd., Glynn operated Gomes Consulting Enterprises (sole proprietorship), was an independent consultant and has also been employed by Environment Canada, University of Toronto and others.
